Progress

Album image #1
This will be the loadout

Album image #2
the armory gave us loadouts for this build (right) and also the Nickel section which I hope to finish once the stripe decals from Anyz arrive

Album image #3
this is going to be mostly OOB build so no fancy aftermarket pit. gonna paint the PE and then put decals on it.

Album image #4
trying to find a way to make the intakes easy as there are several more of those to be done in the future. when the putty dries there will still be lines but once i sand and do this again it should be acceptable

Album image #5
some finemolds parts here. a little more filling needed but otherwise I'm happy

Album image #6
needed some putty to keep its shape

Album image #7
watching a lot of car builds on yt and trying to apply the lessons to the tomcats

Album image #8
the wings - totally the most discouragingpart of every hasegawa tomcat build

Album image #9
this badboy is gonna need some sanding too

Album image #10
interesting comparison: finemolds tanks vs. hasegawa - which ones should i use?

welcome Roland and Maciej. There is some more sculpting to do and then I will start preparing this for paint. I will close the pit first and then black base and masking of the stripe. The refuel probe cover and some aim9 rails will have TPS paint as it will be a nice detail and the reference pictures have this. In the end I am so used to the gawa f-14 that a lot of the issues no longer bother me haha except for the wings and clear parts, those are impossible even for me🙂
