Assembling the exhaust nozzles from rescuemodels kit to add more detail, though a bit inaccurate.

Used the resin supports to make a bit of an intake cone, though they won't be seen unless you shine a light down the intakes

Also added some deflectors on the intake ramp, it hides the internal cavity of the model.

Also added a Retrowings F-18 cockpit kit which need a bit of work(but not much), even if it was for the revell version. The canopy supplied with the kit is a bit too shallow. I might order a Brengun F-18 canopy next time i put an order.
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/9/7/3/1306973-114585-50-720.jpg)
Scribed and rescribed panel lines on wings, most probably add some more since once you start you can't stop !!

![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/1/9/6/1322196-114585-22-720.jpg)
Panel lines and streaking finished.
![Album image #12 Album image #12](/albums/img/1/9/7/1322197-114585-13-720.jpg)
![Album image #13 Album image #13](/albums/img/5/2/3/1329523-114585-89-720.jpg)
Finished, I do like the classic white/gray paint scheme over the modern all gray look.

Album info
A basic rendition of the Tomcat to provide a bit of scale to my 1/144 collection of mainly 'larger' planes.
