RAF Emergency Set (K2 Ambulance)
Assemble first, paint later this time - I want this chassis to be solid, so needs to be firmly cemented together (easier with bare plastic everywhere).
Underside assembled, wheels on, even some pigment-mud applied and some rust to give it a bit of character.
K2 Ambulance with sides at last, and cab fitted out
Katy (K2/Y) ambulance ready for decals...
Katy (K2/Y) ambulance ready for decals... putting the decals onto the doors before fitting them so the decals can bed down better.
K2/Y Katy ambulance... the damp varnish is making it look patchy on the side, it's not, honest. Doors and roof vents on too now.
Weathered model ambulance on a mirror so you can see the underside too!

Assembling the aft cab seems to be a bit of a "challenge": tried, swore (lots), backed off... you'd think 3 walls wouldn't be too much of a challenge after I'd built, wouldn't you 🤦♂️😏
