Airfix - Aston Martin DBR9 1/35 Scale

Very good result
I found airfix models not to be the most precise
I got this model to and old probably get a better model for the money
But I do like the Aston Martin so it found its way into my collection

Here is my take on the Airfix Aston Martin DBR9 in 1/35 Scale.
Airbrushed with Zero Paints Gulf Blue and various other Mr Color and Alclad 2 enamels.
This is my very first car build. I am not really into cars at all, but my daughter bought me this for Father's Day last year so I decided to build it.
The kit was reasonably good, some of the instructions were a bit vague as to where things went and the front/back and side windows were a bit warped (hence the bad fit in places). The front orange decal was a complete nightmare and probably should be in more than one piece - it required cutting once on the model to fit inside the air intake. Also the printed Aston Martin badge does not match up with the moulded badge on the model.
Overall, it was a quick build and I did quite enjoy it. It will be a while before I decide to build another car though!
