AMT Chevy W/T 1500

Haven't even opened the box and I've already abandoned any idea of an OOB build

Fortunately, very few parts in this kit, so the "meh" part (sanding parting lines, etc.) is much shorter!

Adding nicks and scratches and dents from 14 months of carelessly throwing equipment into the bed.

The body will need some modifications to accommodate the new headlight buckets.

W/T front end fitting well now!

Everything sanded, time for a mockup!

Thanks Dominik! Precisely what I'm going for, glad to hear I've pulled it off.

And I'm up visiting my parents this week - a good chance to get away from my 1:1 projects and catch up on the scale builds. The change in scenery certainly makes the tedious pre-painting tasks much more pleasant!

Completed! Soon this will be installed on the dio base. Until then, focus is shifting to the Ford, as well as some other goodies that arrived in the mail.
