The MPM/Xtrakit Sea Vixen is known for being unruly, so this may be a LONG project. You can help me by talking me out of it!!!

Yes a Target tug. 🙂
I've did a Typhoon as a Target Tug years ago. Spent alot of time in the yellow/black stripes.

Hi Bill,
it`s nice to see that you`ve started to build this really outlandish aircraft type. I like it too, as all those ähem... different british aircraft constructions.
Your decal choice is nice and it is my favourite too. As you can see in my stash, I have bought the same decal sheet, but in scale 48.
Sadly Model Alliance with all the amazing decals doesn`t exist not longer!! :/
Wish you good luck and patience with the brand xtrakit, it is not the easy way.
But I`m sure you will solve the problems as usual. Both thumbs up for you!

Thanks for the encouragement, mates! I'm expecting this one to be a long journey... 🙂
Holger, yes indeed a bottle of good old Zap-A-Gap! This is just a trade name for some very thick, gap-filling super glue.
Dirk, I'd love to see you start the 1:48 scale version of the Sea Vixen with these markings. Let's have a race to the finish! 🙂

Cool Bill, I would buy it just because of that funny name! Tomorrow I'll see if I can find that stuff in Germany😢!
Now to your Vixen (another funny name in German🙂) I hope that your "journey" won't last too long, cuz I'm anxious for some pix of your build!
Cheers, Holly🙂
