This was my first resin kit, built on behalf of a friend who wanted to have a model with my style. It's mostly built sraight from the box, but with instrument panel from Heller's Me 262, pilot figure from Matchbox, some plastic card and metal rod in the undercarriage. The back section of the airframe was solid, so I carved it in order to avoid the tail-sitting.

Looks very nice, Juan! Was this a real plane, or just one of those Luft 46 paper airplanes? I've not seen or heard of this one before.

It was a 1943 'crash-project' in order to get a jet fighter a.s.a.p. until the Me 262 was available, thinking that starting from a proven design would do thing easier; but they soon discovered that the number of changes was too great, making it as difficult as a new project, so it was ended soon after those preliminary studies.

So it wasn't a Luft 46 project.

Thanks for the explanation! History is one of my other hobbies, so I'm always curious about things like this.
