An A-10 Warthog static display was placed back to its original position at Heritage Park, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, March 6, 2012, after tipping backwards due to heavy snow accumulation in the area. A joint effort by members of the 354th Civil Engineer Squadron and 354th Maintenance Squadron helped restore the A-10 to its upright position after a passerby reported the aircraft was overtaken by heavy snow. While working, the 354th CES and 354th MXS crews discovered a locking pin used to secure the plane in place was missing.
