Patrick HagelsteinWhen I look at picture 2 the plastic looks pebbly and undefined. Mine is polished and finely engraved. It looks to me you have a kit with a production flaw.

wilkyMy first job was in a factory that made plastic components and I can see that your kit shouldn't have passed quality control as the surface indicates that the die or plastic wasn't at correct operating temperature. I would be more than tempted to contact Eduard and see if you can get a replacement
