Ace Combat 04 F/A-18C flown by Erusean ace Vaisala.

Shot down over the Comona Islands in Operation Countdown, in an effort to stop ISAF’s launch of a reconnaissance satellite on the 31st of December 2004.

Reports of ISAF loses over the Comona Islands where Vaisala was patrolling, and later debriefing of the dogfight suggests Vaisala expended all missiles before Mobius One arrived, leaving Vaisala only with the F/A-18C’s M61 Vulcan.


This one has been a long time coming. The kit is Academy’s 1/72 F/A-18C with decals from Hasegawa’s 1/72 Su-33 “Yellow 13”.

Wish Hasegawa would leave extra decals for other aces and pilots, in their newer ace combat kits, like in the older boxings.
