I have this kit from way back. I am waiting for my skillset to get better to tackle it.

Oh Yes Bill...i am not a truck builder, but i thought, my skills are good enough to fight it. That was a hard way, to complete that kit.
Because i remembered the Truck from my childhood on a poster in my room, it was a wish, to build it till the end.
I will load up pictures asap. It is ready...without decals.

I took have the kit in my stash. Many years ago, it became a topic for conversation, with a fellow SM friend, who was also an Australian truck driver.
He told me, the Revell kit, is totally incorrect, from what an Australian KW really is. It's hardly surprising really. So, I held off building it, until I fully researched the subject. I'll try and get you guys a link, to his work. I think that you'll agree, he knows his stuff???

The Australian Kenworth is unique to its brethren in that it has the short stubby sometimes sloped bonnet called the SAR and is built for road train applications.
Revell have done the usual put an American version with Australian bits. It's not just road trains out there of course so it could be adapted of course for signal or B-double trailers.

I have one of these, given to me by someone who gave up on it. It's a glue bomb nightmare. No paint, just a lot of glue. I'm not sure it's worth saving.

@ Rod. Parts are easy to get for that kit.
Any Revell W900 will work. It might be easy for you to acquire one of those, and put some of your bits onto it? However never, throw semi stuff away. You'll be amazed at what it comes in handy for? The shit, ahem, spares that I have, I could probably make some crazy trucks, out of.

Thanks for the link. Running lines are still above my paygrade. I have the desire to build the kit more because of all the chrome bit vs. turning out an actual Aussie correct rig. Does it have the parts to make a US version?
