Hi Guillaume, Villiers and Vincent! Thank you for your kind words mates! Very appreciated !
@Guillaume, seeing your past quality work, you should definitely try 1/32 models at some time!

Guy, Gary, Neuling & Rui! Thanks a lot for your kind words! Being finally able to put an album on theses P-40 builds restarted the warhawk fire burning inside, there are 2 teethed birds back on the bench. More in the appropriate album.
Cheers

Looking at this, it makes me reconsider buying the GWH P-40 when I can buy this kit for $40. But then again, I don't have your skills. Beautiful model!

Thanks guys for bringing this one back. I took great pleasure all along, except for the rear window and tail integration. Lot of filling and sanding.
@Paul, GWH Hawk is light years ahead, I have two in the stash and consider starting one in the near future.

Mathieu,
One more question … painting camo patterns comes down to masks with "hard lines" and airbrushing with "soft lines". It seems to me that most actual aircraft were painted with "hard" lines with the notable exception of Luftwaffe aircraft. On scale models, the "soft lines" of an airbrush might not be in scale, but make the model somehow …better looking and less "toyish". The camo lines on this P-40 seem to be soft ….but not too soft. I know that's a somewhat ambiguous statement. I think they look perfect and I was just curious to know how you did these (masks or airbrush) and generally your thoughts on it. Thanks and sorry for all the questions but you seem to have mastered the issue.
