Using the broom to prop up the bicycle is a brilliant idea! And you even thought of the little red radio!

Hah! Thanks guys! The real challenge for the bike was getting the chain mechanism wrapped around the to the propellor. These are all totally scratchbuilt, so if you want to see how I built the bike out of basically nothing, check it out here - Ghibli: Kiki's Delivery Service (Propeller Bike) | Album by strobez (1:72)

Thank Juergen. These are all 1/72 scale (so very small) and 100% scratchbuilt. If you want to see how I built the Mawe... TWICE, check out my build album - Ghibli: Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (Mehve) | Album by strobez (1:72) (You can start at pic 26 if you want to skip my first, misshaped attempt.).

This reminds me of an old joke:
A drunken man comes home and his wife is waiting for him with a broom. He asks her: "Do you want to clean or are you going to fly off again?"

True story: A mother-in-law was cleaning the seating in the North stand of Twickenham Rugby Stadium. She called out "Whos got my broom!" The son-in-law - who was in the North stand - whispered to his friend "I thought she came by car?" The mother-in-law heard him and never forgave the friend for laughing.

On the weekend I was cleaning out the weeds on my driveway and my wife literally asked me where the broom was... I started snickering...

Looking good, love the chipping. Specialized chipping fluid or hairspray? (I'm "frugal" and use the $1.99 bottle of hairspray, lol).

Cheers. I normally use hairspray but using some chipping fluid that css as me with a rusting effects set for this.
I think hairspray is quicker and easier but maybe doesn't chip quite do well.
I'd be happy using either.

It's all good. I have found that applying the hair spray with a brush is making chipping a little easier for me.
Is that rusting set the one from vallejo? I've been eyeing it at the local big box craft store and wondering if it's worth the money.
