That looks great, Tim! What red paint did you use? I have a couple of these kits but they aren't high on my to do list, mostly because the smaller stuff is getting to be too much for my old eyes and shaky hands! I find 1/12 scale is better for me but...$$$$

I don't know why Revell chose 1/24 scale for this kit, the scale for Formula One cars is 1/20th.

Mike, I painted with pink metallic for base and several coat clear red/orange for top to adjust the color..
George, Tamiya was the only one who made F1 kits in 1/20 scale in the early days...

Hi Tim, your model is great, but Tamiya was the only company producing F1 models in the "early days" in 1/12 and then 1/20.
