I don't normally model aircraft gear-up. In this case, I'd scavenged the undercarriage for a model of the Lockheed CL-1200 (X-26) Lancer (a high wing development off the F-104 Starfighter). ironically, the Lancer was one of the losers to the F-16 in the Lightweight Fighter competition! With no undercarriage, I decided I'd build this one gear up. A good choice, 'cause this aircraft looks airborne even when it's on the ground.
P.S. If you want to have a look at the Lancer, that project has also been uploaded It's part of my X-Planes collection

Lovely build and display! I did the alternative-schemed one in 1983...remembered those moulds were so so crisp!

The first one I built was Minicraft's 1:32 F-16 in the rollout scheme. What a kit! Up to that point (late 70's), that was the NICEST kit I'd ever seen!
