Mr Finishing Surfacer 1500 on, now some masking for the white and yellow parts 

 

 

 

decals and last gloss coat on, now waiting for a satin finish 

 

 

The so called Oil Dot Technique... small dots of various oil colours worked in with a dry stiff brush... starboard (right) wing done 

port (left) wing half way... 

finished... not easy to capture the result with a cellphone, it is very subtle but can be noticed seeing it for real 

difficult to catch with the cellphone, but there are lots of subtle variations of the base black-green colour 

Finished! RS model is a good short run kit, needs only some reverse engineering to bring the plastic parts to the original master shapes, if one can achieve this the fit is really good indeed. 

I am not able to get better photos but trust me, there are lots of subtle variations in the upper side green!
