Wow, that looks good. Fantastic work on the panel lines and distressed paintwork. Lots and lots of good weathering work has gone into this. Great build

thanks - about ZM kit - not great - not terrible. With some effort it is possible to make quite nice Phantom 😉

Thanks Jakub! What issues were you fighting? Is it the fit or lack of detail? I was thinking of doing a Zoukei-Mura kit one day and as they are relatively expansive, I'm collecting experiences from others 🧐

Love your work on the Phantom Jakub. Your weathering is just spot on you could pass it off as the real thing... so realistic. Job Job Sir.

In case of ZM kit - in comparison with Tamiyas F-4B - te fit and the details are a bit worse, but still nice. I have few ZM kits left and I will build them 🙂

Incredible paintwork and variations in tone. Is that oil paint work? I'm still messing with that with mixed results.

Absolutely superb, the camo and weathering is excellent.
An inspiration to anyone who has a passion for detail and appreciates the beauty of the Phantom.

Ahhh, very nice build and even nicer weathering Jakub. Finally someone who tries to replicate actual weathering in stead of the more commonly seen "paint by numbers" pre-shading or even worse a combination in combination with pre-shading and post-shading with smoke.
According to my info all F-4F's of this vintage had the bottom stabilzer fishtail reinforcement plate installed, but have not seen any evidence for 38+38 so far. You might consider adding the bottom reinforcement plates.

What a beauty, Jakub! 😍😍😍 That is by far the best and most realistic F-4F I've seen here on Scalemates. Next to mine, of course! ✌😉 Just joking, mate!!! 😉✌
How did the Caracal Decals perform? I'm very keen to build the ICE-13 one and I never had Caracal Decals before
Best regards from Germany!!!

Thanks guys! In case of decals - well, they are not the best in terms of accuracy unfortunately. In my case they went also wrong with clear carrier film which is noticeable (this can be my fault, maybe some chemical reaction with clear varnish, cause after placing they were ok). As far as I know right now, better choice is to use House of Phantoms norm 81 decals.

to be honest - the best way to build F version based on ZM kits is: fuselage from E, wings from G, stabilators from C. In my case was the E for the main parts, stabilators from C and Hypersonic conversion for E late.
