The model as I was given it. 

And after removing the bits that wouldn’t be on the tank in early 1943 — mainly the extra armour plates and some other details — and correcting mistakes Dragon made with this kit. The tracks were thrown in the bin because sections of them had become hard and brittle, while other areas had oil leaching out of them 🙁 

The finished model, painted as worn mud camouflage over olive drab with markings for tank No. 7, E Company, 1st Armored Regiment, 1st Armored Division, US Army. The tracks are from a MiniArt M3 medium tank kit.
