Morane-Saulnier MS 406 C-1

July 10, 2024Sprue Shot. The plan is just straight up building it (emptying my mountain of doom) and makes few adjustments like fixing the horizontal stabilizer and exhausts.2
July 10, 2024Quick Cockpit build and borrowed Academy's Tomahawk IIb seat that I have for spare. I guess Mr.Slenderman from Academy Mirage IIIC will finally join the fray on this equally (?) notorious kit.3
July 10, 2024Drilled the Exhausts with 0.45mm drill.4
July 10, 2024Primed with Flat Black and painted the interior with Tamiya XF-18. Also assembled the gear bay first, it doesn't have any locating pin mark and requires some fitting and sanding for it.5
July 11, 2024OOB decals, it is bad by it own but I will try to use it. I have tested it and it somewhat salvageable.6
July 11, 2024Instrument panel accuracy is terrible and nowhere near the real thing.7
July 11, 2024Fixing the horizontal stabilizer.8
July 11, 2024Cockpit done, added my spare Academy Tomahawk IIb cushion seat so it won't look too bare. Some has it fitted in real life.9
July 11, 202410
July 11, 2024Dry fitting it. I have reservations about the vertical stabilizer as it shouldn't be flat top, I decided to ignore this.11

July 11, 2024Comparison with Tamiya D.520 pilot with whatever this monstrosity molded being.13
July 11, 2024fuselage assembled, not yet joint with the wing. It does have issue on the fit between the two. It doesn't fit perfectly as there are some holes that light can seep through.
