This Foxbody in the process of a frame-off restoration. The However, the exterior is next on the list from peeling clear-coat, to faded headlights this old pony is almost complete to tear up the streets and the strip.

I messed the paint after I masked off the windows and decided to go with a old drag racer in the process of being restored.

Same treatment for the roof. It also peeled up some of the window trim and left the silver below. I might retouch the trim of the back glass a little but for the most part I'll leave this as-is because that's what my old foxbody is doing as well the trim paint if peeling revealing silver.

I weathered one of the headlights to complete the look nothing over the top.

I left a little damage here. But there were other smaller spots that I hand painted. I don't want it to be too beat-up.

That restored 5.0 is just waiting to hit the track. With a new comp cam, new heads , performance rockers, bored out cylinder and edelbrock intake paired with a tremec transmission.

I have done this kit before and really enjoyed it. However, it was my 2nd kit ever and the outcome was not up to my standards but now after years I am more experienced and ready to tackle this thing head-on!

I have run into a bit of a pickle. I am not used to using tamiya paints and forgot they do not act like enamels and when I masked off the windows trim the tape peeling some paint back in some areas really badly. I am out of that exact paint color so I accepted this and in classic Bob Ross fashion I changed this from a pristine drag racer to a WIP restoration/Sporty daily driver. I repainted over the damaged areas in flat red at around 25 PSI to give it that spray can look and also weathered the headlights nothing major.
