It's an old Fujimi kit and the detail is pretty good. You do need a ceramic blade to clean up the seem lines but it fits well. I got this at the same time I bought the Blackhawk a couple of years ago at a deceased estate sale. The original owner wanted to build this as an RAN ASW Helo so some parts were missing such as the standard port side sponsion which instead is the longer sponsion to house the magnetic anomaly detector. I couldn't set this up as an ASW helo so I didn't fit the sonar station and dipping scope.
The decals are (would have been decent) but are now brittle. I do have an RAN decal set so I was going to do this Helo as Shark 20 as per the previous owners wishes but I didn't have the serial number for Shark 20 so I have now turn this into Shark 05.
Paints used are primarily SMS Insignia White and SMS US Gull Grey. Decals are from Novascale but you need to be very delicate with the print as it can come off easily.
