Great work! Very clean! Are the MG 17 muzzles on the engine from the kit?

Thanks Holger, I kept it clean on purpose. Maybe some light weathering on the next plane.
The guns are all from the kit. Molded on the engine.

Ah thanks! The biggest problem for me was masking the canopy. In the above pics the masks are still on, but when I peeled them off, some of the paint came off with it....

Gnarf!!! Thats an ugly situation! Can you fix it with a brush?
Do you use Tamiyatape? If yes, try to make them not so stick. I had the same problem on my 109 32scale. After making the tape not so stick, everything went fine. Ah and i often forget to clean the surface before spraying, that can cause the same problems...
You see, i had to learn it on the hard way;););)

Nice and clean! Good job!
I've had the same trouble with some paint coming off when I remove the masking tape. For me, it seems the problem gets worse with having many coats of paint or leaving the tape on too long. So I always paint a minimum number of coats, and I take the tape off right away, sometimes when the paint hasn't fully dried yet. I use a #11 blade to pick up one corner, and then peel it off with tweezers.
I also stick the tape to my palm before I stick it on the canopy. This removes some of the stickiness as Holger suggests.
That Airfix 109 is a nice little kit, isn't it? 🙂

Nice job! 🙂
If the paint comes off the frames with the masking, you may try cutting along the masking with a fresh #11 blade first.
