Thanks, but there's my own strict rule: (not Europe, but) A-levels first, so there isn't so much time for modelling 🙁
But in the meantime Frank, have a look at this:
wettringer-modellbau..d&threadID=46070
It's in German, but that shouldn't be that big problem for you 😉

Hi Fabian,
my German is quite ok😉 , but my "Fränkisch" isn't the best.
Thanks a million for your link. I like how you modified the arms of the figures.

Frank, the basic "Frängisch" is an pretty easy dialect, just replace all "hard" consonants by using their "soft-sounding" expression: k->g, t->d, p->b
Teppich (carpet) becomes Tebbich
Depp (informal for idiot) is pronounced as Debb
And of course you have leave out some word endings especially "en"
But be aware: there are some phrases that need further interpretation, like "schau mer mal" (directly translated: let's see)
it can mean everything from the optimistic "let's see" to "i don't believethisisgonna happen" or even "i don't care / leave me alone"
As Lothar Matthäus would say: You see: The devil sticks in the detail
(In Bavaria they/we make fun of him, (because of his "basic" English skills) by translating German Proverbs directly into English) 🙂

👍 ...and if you have problems with tracks and so on... Do it as I do, there is always a place for a bottle "Baldrian" on the bench, especially for Italerie kits.😉

Thanks
Mike, I used a lot of swearing instead 🙂
have a look at my link above, there you can see my solution for fixing the tracks. (Pics should explain their self)
This solution worked until yesterday... until the kit went flying ... now one tread is broken...twice (ist there a swearing Smiley?) But it's not the side the figures are placed, so it could be worse ....
Thanks

THX, Steve and Kim...
The figures were perfect for this build, apart from not beeing real Marienes😉
I´ve got some pigments on, but still have to achive a wet look... anyone an idea how you can do that?

Long time ago, isn´t it?😉
I´ve used clear gloss and water effects to achive a wet look. I had to lighten up the parts which were supposed to stay dry. All in all it looks better than I left it about half a year ago. Since then the already broken track have "brewed up" the mudguards and engine cover. (Hope I´ve fixed it...) Ticking time bombs for shure...😉
