Thanks for the compliments. It is the standard cockpit which contains PE for the panel and the belts. The latter require some bending as the are way too wide. I also had to cut the panel decal as it didn't line up with te PE part. The standard floorpanel was by trimming off the excess plastic to create the "open" floor. On hindsight I could have trimmed more off the back part as well but once fitted you probably wont see it anyway. Now I need to give my eyes some rest😉

Well I finally completed the model after working on it on and off. Gave it a rest when I wasn't satisfied with the initial camouflage colors (Vallejo dark green and dark earth). Decided to repaint with Vallejo US Dark green and Green Brown.....much better. Held back on the weathering as I was afraid to over do it. After I took the pictures I realised I hadn't pressed the engine cover completely in place but it fits seemlessly 🙂

Thanks for the compliments 🙂 @ Martin. It's a nice kit but with some minor issues. Mine wasn't the best mould. It had a few extra bumps and lumps that weren't native to the original plane. And I don't know why they made a separate piece for the gunbays. Like on some other models it's not a perfect fit and requires filling and sanding like on the front wing roots. The rest of the kit fits rather nicely and doesn't require any special skills. Just like those new tool Airfix 1/72 models 🙂
