Nice work 🙂 how was this kit? I'm thinking of building mine soon

Kit is very old with raised panel lines and I had heard a lot of negative comments on other sites but it went together well for me and I had no major issues. There is minor issue with fit of wing to fuselage but nothing that can't be fixed with some filler and sanding, also the canopy is a little difficult to get on correctly without some filing. Other than that it was fine if you don't mind the raised panel lines and lack of cockpit and wheel-well details. Typical old mold from 70's I believe. Also don't forget to add some weight to nose as it will be tail sitter. Plenty of room for that thought as there is no cockpit detail. Another thing that is incorrect for the kit is that they advertise it as a P39Q but the decals are actually for two P39N's instead. That's why the box art shows wing machine guns but the kit only has the guns in the gondolas. I know this is a big deal for some people but I don't mind it as I had fun with it and only took me a few days out of box and brush painted. Hope this helps
