A7V Sturmpanzer, 506 "Mephisto"
We start off with the 6 7.92mm MG08 machine guns. No glue is needed, while those pieces are snap-type and can use this to adjust their final position
Base of the hull and tracks
I went against the instructions here, and palced the MG's before glueing in place the 4 pieces of the main body. Again, I didn't use glue due to snap-type attachment.
Instructions are vague about the position of the front and rear pieces. The acurate position is the pieces "step"to be glued to the bootom of the base, and not as shown above 😛
Nearly finished
Thats it. After 45 minutes, the A7V is done. I didnt use the 2 exhaust pipes, while the 506 was using just 2 holes in the service access panels as exhausts
I used my pin vise (with a 0.7 head) to open the gun barrel. Then I noticed somethings not right about the gun
Instructions, have a mistake, showing the base of the gun wrongly inside-out! I had to scrap the glue piece, scratch a new one, glue it to the gun, and then on the tank...
Much better now
Primed and small corrections
Pre-shaded
Base colour: Field Gray, as (it is said) they came out of the factory

Second colour on the camo
Finished with camo. Top surfaces were supposed to be just painted with the basic colour (as I read)
Decals are a major pain! There's too much film. I had to cut as close as I could. And then again, I bat them in Micro Sol every 30 mins
