No, no, I saw everything that, that's why I bought it 😄 I think I'll use Squadron vac-form canopy.

Finaly some 20 new photo's of my slow progress. Not much build time though so it's a real quick build other than it takes ages for me to build with ten minutes here n' 15 there so time flies...

I finished the Academey 1/72 Helldiver and putting decals on anything with a curve was a disaster. Would not wrap around with tons of MicroSol. I had to cut and then match the pieces to avoid the bubbling and creasing. Not acceptable that it doesn't even cover the whole cowling. Are you willing to make a quick build a little slower by finding aftermarket decals?

All other decals should be usable I think considerin' that they won't be put down on any difficult area. It could be if I can raid some checkers from another decal sheet I've got or from a Tamiya kit. I like the markings n' colours on the Eileen even if it lacks the crucial pin-up. Have you tried Tamiya's checker decals? How do those wrap around the cowling?

Try to paint the checker with masking it with small square-shaped masking tape pieces, would be kinda hard, but nice result!

It's possible to do that. Either I paint the checkers or use my Tamiya decals for 'em.

The best thing Academy have ever done is to team up with Cartograph...
