Nice Vladimir! Is there a story behind the markings. Still "Royal Navy" on fuselage yet American otherwise. Where was this used and stationed? Didn't know U.S. used Swordfish, but then again I don't know much about Swordfish! 🙂

This is a marking from operation Torch - the US markings were given to british planes, because it probably seemed... awkward to attack their former French allies (again! remember Mers-el-Kebir) with regular markings 🙂 Also, supposedly, the US AA gunners were too trigger happy and the familiar white stars reduced risk of friendly fire.
