Yes holly. He was one of the best tank commanders. Killed 100-110 russian tanks.

Hello, can you give me some hints how do you paint rubber rings so evenly? Do you attach each wheel to a stick, rotate and paint it?

Yes on a stick and a very good hand;)

Looking really great mate and you can't tell it's 1:48 instead of 1:35. I'm glad to see that Tammy have corrected their decals for Carius' tank as they're not correct for that option in their 1:35 version of the same kit. Too bad though that they've omitted the S-mines in the 1:48 kit. The 1:35 kit gives you that they should. But they tell the builder to use track links on the turret in the 1:35 but not with the the 1:48 kit. I've studied the photos that I've seen on #213 and can't see any but Hermann's #212 from the same company and time had the track links on the turret. One more difference between the kits is that They don't give you the option to remove the first outer road wheel in 1:48 as they do in 1:35, Carius #213 had it removed. But then they're also calling it summer 1944 in the instructions which is wrong, spring would be much more like it as this tank ended it's carrier on the 20th of April 1944. I'd say it's muddy waters with too few refference photos in the matter. You're doing a masterpiece here mate and I can't wait to see the final result.
