My photo set-up is like follows: the model stands on a black glass, about 2 to 3 meters behind i have a black wall (styrofoam) and the light comes from a studio flash with a small softbox haning on a boom stand. Sometimes I use several small pieces of white styrofoam to lighten up the sides of the model. A picture how it looks like can be found here: modellbauforum-koeln..stID=34918#post34918
