Revell Corvette 53

Album image #1
The styrene of this kit looks kinda cheap.

Album image #2
When sprayed that doen not matter. I mixed Revell Aqua Color as shown in instructions for this engine.

Album image #3
The parts fit well. Detail is OK. I like the chassis.

Album image #4
Some more detail to the engine.

Album image #6
Primed the body with UMP/Styunylrez primer. Great stuff.

Album image #7
Sprayed the interior using Revell Aqua Colors. The engine bay needs to be darker.

Album image #8
Sprayed the first gloss white (Tamiya X2). Including a test piece for polishing before i start with the body.

I cleaned up most of the chrome parts. What to use to make them shiny again?

Hello guys. I have a question. I put most of the chrome parts of this Corvette in oven cleaner so i clould sand them smooth. What product gives the best chrome look? I'm considering Alclad Chrome. Are there better options (sorry about the sideways photo)?

Hello Frank! I built a Nissan GT-R painted Chrome, look at my builds. For small pieces I suggest Alclad II Chrome or House of Kolors Krome.

Hello Denilson. I looked at your Nissan GT-R and it looks stunning. Incredible finish. Thank you for the advice. The Corvette has been on the shelf for while but i will give the it a go with the Alclad II chrome.
