Basic assembly, putty and sanding

ready for masking/priming
First coat of primer and more sanding
Scratch-built wheel welll/air brake
First coat of aluminum paint
All masked up.
A few metallic grey panels for contrast.
Top coat of paint... Should've masked better
Hmmm... Needs a touch-up
Touch ups to the aluminium paint job done!

Glued on most of the undercarriage pieces
Glued and aligned the landing gear
Ready for a coat of future and some decals
Tail pipe needs some weathering
Wheel wells painted green
Ready for that clear coat
Lower angle. I like the red nose cone.

Greg BakerThis is a fantasy build based on the Area 88 manga series. So these MiG-21s are destined for a custom paint job/decals like the "Project 4" planes.
