U.S.S. Voyager build
I underestimated the size of this thing...that's a Revell Battlestar Galactica 1:4105...
Making a start.
I don't quite have a lighting kit yet, but I found a substitute to help keep an eye on light leaks.
Also started some other pieces on sprues. Will clean up a few things as I go.
I had originally considered buying Don's Light & Magic replacement parts. Honestly, wouldn't be easy for me to get a hold of them. Tamiya X-23 Clear Blue instead.
Decided to use some Vallejo Model Colour Transparent Red that I had laying around from the Cylon Centurion build
Making progress

interesting, i love star trek, but i have none in my stash... so i will enjoy following you in your build 🙂
and your centurion was really good, so this one will be even better 🙂

Thank you. I grew up with ST: VOY, and have wanted a scale model Intrepid since childhood. I just never thought I would ever get around to building one. It's definitely a fun build so far. I'm decidedly not going with any guides for painting--just by gut. 🙂

First time building a Star Trek kit, with an ambitious goal of using a PE set, and lighting. It will be my 7th model to date.
