Wow, this bird looks just like the ones in these old Technicolor films of the 60s! Most authentic color variation and heatmarks. Chapeau !

I think this is the only F-100C in town in 1/48 scale. there are major and minor shape issues with the kit. Trumpeter seem to forgot to do their homework. simple things such as accuracy of decals (i.e.: Tail number should be 53-737 NOT 54-737) and the lack of common stencils you see on lots and lots of reference photos of the F-100C/D in SEA. but, despite all of the drama, the kit builds really nice. fast, fit is reasonably good, few filling and sanding which is great. decals has large carrier film but works superbly with Mr. Mark Setter.
