Superscale decals (eBay), which started out horrifically but performed well after a coat of Microscale decal sealer. Some minor scratchbuilding--Pave Penny pod, Dual-rail adapter for Sidewinder, brake lines, and added a few rivets.

Mavericks were Eduard--really nice--as were the rocket pods. Other weapons and ECM pod were Hasegawa. In other words, the kit weapons are mediocre!

I think the TERs and pylon bolts came from A-6E Intruder kit leftovers.

Camo is Vallejo acrylics. I started with putty-worm masking, but gave that up and gave freehanding a try.

Album info
A-10A in Maryland Air National Guard markings, European camo. The A-10 is a favorite of mine and I saw this Tamiya kit in the local hobby shop, so I decided to do a relatively quick, less complicated build of the "A" version as a learning experience for a future, more detailed A-10C in more recent MD ANG markings, either again in 1/48 or 1/32.
