This is the old Like-Like Hobbies release of the vintage Adams kit Tillie the Toiler. This type of gun was nicknamed the Stratosphere Gun. I wanted to build this kit out-of-the-box. It has all of what you'd expect from 1950s plastic molding technology; ejector pin marks, wavy surface texture, monster mold seams, flash, numbers molded onto parts, and my favorite, short-shot parts. The last problem made this a longer project than I had planned as I had the create the missing portions of a large number of kit parts.
