Thanks mates!
Cortex, the build was enjoyable and the fit was ok. I did many dry fits on each stage before using any glue. The surface of all parts were a rough surface, but that was fixed with Mr. Surfacer and some liberal use of sand paper. The decals were off register, but were fine for this build. I actually did this build as a study before I start another MiG-17F that I want to do in North Vietnam markings.

Nice paint job, but where are the working cylinders on the main landing gear?

My kit was missing one and I left them off until I can make one, then it was forgotten after being put in the cabinet. Perhaps on the next trip to the shop I can find something suitable from Evergreen or Plastrux and make replacements, since I still have another kit for comparison. Sharp eye there Bernhard!
