Finally got this one started, so far the fit of the parts is like a Tamiya kit, magnificent, should be a fun build.🙂

Thanks Patrick. Wings to go on very soon, and if everything goes well off to the paint shop in a couple of days.

Finally got her all together, a few little issues to clean up but nothing to worry about, should be in the paint shop very soon.🙂

She's all painted now and shortly will have a coat of Future on so I can start decaling in the morning.

I like what you did with the overpainted roundels! Cockpit looks great too! But was the lower cowling and wing to fuselage join that troublesome? I saw some large gaps there. Not something I would expect from a new Eduard kit. 🙁

Very nice so far Michael 👍

Thank You all for the pleasant comments.

@Patrick, I'm pretty sure I bought the problem on myself when I filed away to much plastic when I was cleaning up the lower wing section. All good now, nothing that a bit of Evergreen couldn't fix. As for the over sprayed roundels I made masks out of scotch tape. When I make my own masks I use Tamiya tape and I wish I had for these as well as they didn't come out as clean as I would have liked.

Oh, in this case I looked more into the difference in color than the actual masking... Still, you did a splendid job! 👍 And as far as the gaps concerns, you cleaned those up nicely indeed. This is one of those cases where the modeler knows the pitfalls but the audience just admires the subject. 😉

Thanks Lode, and I'm sure I will, should be finished in a couple of hours just have to put the canopy on plus the antennas, paint lights and do a small amount of paint chipping. I would have had it done last night but got caught up watching the first part of Lord of the Rings, doesn't matter no rush.

@DDII - Might be a tad damp for Sir Peter at the moment - but not even the great man could rain on Mr Hickey's parade!
@ Michael - is the project photo of the Spit at Temora? BTW: great job too

Scott, this particular aircraft had a much smaller shark mouth earlier thus the second set of smaller eyes
