Instructions look easy. Cement hood pieces in desired position. I wanted the hood closed but removable,

Album image #2
There is a center spine and three panels on each side.

Album image #3
I wanted all 7 pieces glued together but the panels flare wider from front to back.

Album image #4
Panels also form an arch around the radiator shroud in the front..

Album image #5
Thought about scratch building hinges but have no experience scratch building

Album image #6
And, around the firewall in the rear.

The yellow is even harder to get a smooth polished finish; I made the mistake of trying craft acrylic because the depth and somewhat pearl look would have been really nice. Will have to practice with craft acrylics more.

Black fender was awesome, Never sanded between coats before, made huge difference. ne problem - I live in hospice and they decided to sweep my room as paint dried and I was on toilet

Album image #9
There aren't any locating pins for the firewall so the tape also helps to position the firewall properly.

Album image #10
Realized tape allowed flexibility and I may even use it to look like felt noise dampener so that hood could actually open and close as if hinged.

Album info

I liked working on the large scale testarossa but the cracks and damaged windshiled eventually made me loose my patience. So, I decided I really like the large scale
