One of the best kits on the market, definitely a pleasure to build ... fantastic details, good choice ... Schnemat 👍!

a little bit of progress on the rafale, the base paint is laid down, on the wings the pre-shading streaks shine through nicely, i like it.

Count me in! I am looking forward to building one of these soon, probably next year at some point.
Off to a great start so far!

painting is almost done, i'm not sure about the exhaust nozzles, i think they are a bit to bright, looking at photos they are sometimes almost black but sometimes also a bit metallic. what do you think?

Looking fine - as a general rule on my jet exhaust, I start with lighter tones and darken with layers of dark-brown & black oils until completely happy. The variety on (most) real planes IMO justifies a very wide range of final results, so I go wherever my heart & childish judgement takes me...

Thanks, i repainted it with sth a little bit darker, but you are right i could have spared me this step and darkened it with dry brushing, oils etc

ok, here we go again, back from the snowy mountains😉 started decalling on the rafale. tested on the scalp's doing it without laying down a gloss coat first, and it looked good. but now on the fuselage there remain some water marks (doesnt matter if i use setter or just plain water). even though i have a very smooth finish it seems that the water still changes the sheen of the surface somehow. i hope it will be barely visible after weathering and applying the final varnish coat

Ok, the watermarks are not really visible after applying the wash. I really like the florymodels dark dirt wash, just brush it over the whole model and then start to remove it with a dampened kitchen paper. Also adding very subtle streaking marks, i dont want to overdue it... very happy so far!

Good stuff - nice to see a somewhat "cleaner" Rafale for a time 👍!
+ humble hint - turning the "last pic shows first" option helps a lot to see the progress immediately with the final photos appearing up-front

switched to the triple racks (also see photos in the rollout album). they came out very nicely, probably one of the best parts i ever did so far
@ Slavo: Can you tell me where i can find the "last pic shows first" option? I'm struggling to find it...😉

Go to your Albums, on an Album, hit "Edit", there go to 3rd option from top - Teaser: - select "Use last image first"
at least that's what it looks like on an iPad... 🙂
