This Eagle was flown by Hptm. Heinrich Bar, CO of I./ JG 77, North Africa, 1942-43. Bar ended the war with 220 aircraft shot down, and went on to be a test pilot on sports aircraft. He died in an accident flying a LF-1 Zaunkonig while performing a common flight on April 28th, 1957.
