That's a lot of colors! PaPa and Boss have 25 indicated colors! Although you usually only use about a third to a half of them, unless you know how to detail the vehicle 100%. That UNIMOG is going to have a lot of cool little accessory colors and some, all you're going to need is a small dab of a color.

25 colors!?!?!? pffff lol and yeah all the tools have different colors..for engine I need a weird looking green, mixed from 2 colors..started with a silver base for it 🙂

Did some work on the Unimog...Interior mostly done.
Some tools painted and have no clue what those 3 tools are in red circles...
The decal between #14 and #15 says 12v in white letters, took me a while to see 😛

They kind of look like flashlights on a charging base. Can you snap a pic of the instructions where they're installed? Might help.

Just found out it is indeed a Halogen flaslightlight on a battery box 😄

AThx, all those little tools and little things takes so much time. Used about 17 different colors lol
Some colors only 1 stripe or dot and then waiting till it's dry to use the next color..

Was going thru a box of old stuff from the big stash i've bought and found this graphite powder in it. still new 🙂 used it for my wheels so now they won't make squeaking noise and roll smoother

Started with this 1 again, gonna finish this 1 first before starting a new 1 🙂
First 2 layers of primer done, think it will be enoughor give it 1 more layer after light sanding...

Did sanding the parts after the 2 layers of primer and then 1 more layer. now it has 2 layers of paint on it and will givve it 1 or 2 more with light sanding in between

The cabin had no windows in the kit, so made that myself...
And gotta love the moment when you cut a part from the sprue and it jumps away never to be seen again.... 🙁 so now trying to make a new 1 🙁

Been there done that, lost a rear side widow grill from a 1969 Mustang GT350. Not sure about replicating another one though.

Danny, my workroom is saturated with these tiny parts, problem is I don´t see them. I admit however that I use a vacuum cleaner from time to time ........

Put a ladies stocking over the vacuum hose. The carpet monster will release the parts 😉

And that's a great idea Bozzer 👍 will tell my housekeeper to use her stocking on vacuum hose 😄

Working on the decals and they are crumbling and falling apart 🙁
And some decals so damn small even with magnifier glasses hard to see lol

Good news!! my housekeeper found the missing taillight glass 😄
The bad thing is the white line decal....it crumbled alot near hinges and door handles 🙁
Should have painted it....and the glass of front window is ugly as hell.

And the tools in the back, would you guys glue them in place or not?
The saw, compressor, the 4 drawers and the 3 flashlights are not glued atm.

you can use some tiny magnets, to keep them in place, but still be able to take them away.

For euro trucks, love the Scania the most and have 4 in stash.
Think I will go for the Imperial first 🙂

And yeah Nigel, opening doors is stock with this kit same for the backdoors. you can close them or keep them open like I have now (not glued)

@Bozzer the parts really look nice, very detailed and some nice decals in kit, even chrome stickers for bling 😛 Just ordered metallic black for it, at first wanted to use normal gloss black but the parts have metallic flakes in it and looks kinda cool already 🙂
