Thanks Jay
It's good to finally get back to building again. it's been almost a couple years since I last posted something. I have another car nearly ready and working on a carrier as well. Finally getting back in the groove!
This one was more or less a promo so I didn't detail it as much as I usually would, but it came out pretty well ,,,, not bad for a RAMBLER!!! lol
Thanks Jay

Thanks Matt (do they call you Matt?) It could have been better, but I didn't want to spend a lot of time on it. Kind of a practice kit!

Album info
My second car was a 62 Rambler Ambassador, it wasn't a bad car, but who wants to admit they drove a Rambler! I paid $25 for it and only drove it for about a month as the gas tank rusted through and it leaked faster than it burned it!
I bought this as a built car on eBay pretty cheap. It was molded in yellow (Taxi Kit) but had a factory paint coat underneath the color as I bought it. I stripped off the paint, primed the body and used Createx pearl red darkened with black, and a couple coats of Pledge. I didn't detail the chassis as it's a curbside kit, and after all it's just a Rambler!!!
