Su 34 Build
This was my first attempt at marbling. Instructions dictated that the gear bays should be revell paint 57, so I decided to use that as a base coat for the entire aircraft instead of black. The blue is a custom mix of revell 50, 49, and 301 mixed at about 10 to 3 to 3.
The "middle" color in terms of saturation. I was looking to match something along the lines of FS 35187. I used a mix of revell 50 and 51 at a ratio of 10 to 2.
Managed to keep some marbling even though I went a little overboard with the smoothing
This layer was a mix of revell 50, 61, and 52 at a ratio of about 7 to 4 to 6
Everything but weapons, gear doors done and some small details done
Waiting on decals, so for the time, she'll sit on the shelf
These decals are honestly the worst ive ever used. They won't come off the transfer paper, and when they do, they are a nightmare to reposition.
The kab-500Ls need their red tips and then a clear coat for what's left
Panel wash, leaks, and metal discoloring is done
I used tamiya weathering master oil stain and burnt red to mimic missile exhaust streaks.
May have gone a bit overboard with the oil stain, oh well
