Album info
This is the actually the first aircraft I've ever built, not counting the ones I did as a boy which fell apart quickly and did not get a lick of paint. Though I'm not an aircraft builder I do like to read about them, and after reading The Big Show I thought I'd have a go at this iconic aircraft. I chose the Tamiya kit because I expected it to be hassle-free and it was. I built it completely OOB with only the antennae added. You can build three versions from the kit, I chose the "A" version which is P9495 DW-K No. 610 Squadron, Battle of Britain, 1940. I enjoyed building it very much, I may even build another winged contraption at some point.
