Thank you OttovonLindberg. I'm using what Spanjaard mentioned. It's an epoxy putty and a very small screwdriver like the ones used in cellphones. To apply the putty into the model I'm using a toothpick after that I use the same screwdriver with a lit bit of water to smooth it's surface. Then I start to use the screwdriver to make the zimmerit.

basically the same as they were doing on the field😉 lots of patience needed, no doubt. but the result is terrific 🙂

My attempt to apply zimmerit without specifics tools and holes drilled into exhaust and main weapon.
Finally finished the zimmerit, lots of work especially in the back plate.
