Wow! From out of nowhere.. Red Alert! Amazing work! I have aspirations of reaching this level of model making.. I would love to see pics of your build along the way.. 👍

Thanks guys for the comments. JD, I'll add a few more pictures over the weekend which show more of the construction. If you have any questions happy to help.

There is only one AMT tooling for the Romulan Warbird. It's the same styrene parts in 3 Piece Adversary Set (AMT/ERTL 6858, 1:3200) and in Romulan Warbird (AMT 753, 1:3200), just a different box with the Ferengi Marauder and Klingon Bird of Prey parts being in the first adversary set (original release) and reboxed as a separate adversary pair (re-released with the Romulan as a separate kit).

Yep, I've got 3 of the original kits (with the Klingon and Ferengi included) and also one of the Warbird-only kits, and I can tell you the parts are the same size. I bought the Warbird thinking "ooh, a new kit in larger scale", but no - it's just a rebox of the original release with the Klingon and Ferengi ships paired separately. (A 1:1400 Warbird in the same scale as the Enterprise-D would be awesome, but also huge in size.)

I have the 3 piece adversary kit too, and as far as I can tell, the only way to obtain a Ferengi ship, is in this kit. Have you seen one anywhere else?
Nevermind, you already answered in another post Adversary Set (AMT 752/12, 1:1400)

The Ferengi ship in this kit is tiny at 1:3700. It was re-issued as Adversary Set (AMT 752/12, 1:1400) (same size), but I have seen larger versions available in resin.
