Penske PC21 WIP Pictures
The first thing to do is to assemble the Lola to get an overview of what needs to be adjusted ... and that's a lot. But don't complain, start!
The first point and certainly the simplest are Lola's front wheels, these are not Penske's. So new ones are made using 3D printing. At first it was easier than I thought, but after collecting more and more reference images I still had to adjust a few things
First test - fit very well and 1: 1 interchangeable with the kit part.
And when I was actually finished I noticed that the rims not only had spokes on the day of the test, but a filled space. So adjust that again.
And so that everything is ready on the front wheels - Air Valves...
Adapted front wing as a 1:1 replacement part for the Lola. There will be an adjustment on the front part of the bottom of the nose. And the additional wing elements in the direction of the front suspension are still missing. Update will follow shortly...
New 3d-printed elements for the front suspension.
It also needed a new front suspension. At first I thought it was almost impossible to adapt it to the Penke, but after a few measurements and a little try-on, I decided to only re-model one element. 3 openings had to be moved and a part of the kit was simply rotated and it basically fits after the first try.
