I used my foam cutter to advantage in this project, I wouldn´t have been able to make these clean angled cuts in foam board otherwise.

I wasn´t sure about how to present the model at first, and wanted to do some experimenting, hence two bases.

I also enjoyed working with all sorts of styrene stock and Tamiya Extra Thin.

The bases were primed in black and then sprayed Fire red and brown successively.

Album info I had this kit and used it to build something that was really seriously weathered, for, um, Fun. I made two versions of the base, and ultimately decided to use the drydock section instead of the slipway. The latter may be used as a model in its own right yet.
