Peter HardyThanks Istvan! I used SMS lacquers, Tan for the seats and interior, dashboard top is Wine Red. Flocking is a dark yellow.

Peter HardyThank you young Skywalker. 2K is done, Now there is a five day wait for it to harden in this weather. Thinking about starting a seventies Kawasaki road bike or perhaps a Brabham F2 car or even a 1910 Renault London taxi cab. Ahhh, the problems with having a stash.

Peter HardyThanks Jonn, best result I've ever got with doing a carpet. A few stuff ups with the engine, had to pull it apart twice but some lessons learned. On the final run now, clear coat is applied but needs sanding and polishing then final assembly. Should have it done in two weeks! I hope!

Peter HardyJonn, I used Tan for the interior and wine red for the dashboard top. The body shell I have done wth 80% - 20 mix of orange and Italian red. Very seventies!

Peter HardyLode, I have tried a Shiite load of different primers and now use UMP almost exclusively. Ask Kezza his opinion of it. He said he would do a review of it for Scalemates after QMEA was done and dusted.

Peter HardySorry Jonn, forgot to tell you I have used SMS 2k. It doesn't settle and self level as well as their lacquers but it does sand down oh so evenly. I will post some pics of the clear coat after I have levelled it out a bit! Kerry Cox I am not!
